Construction Management and Inspection
TBC has extensive construction management and inspection capabilities that deliver safe and successful construction projects. Our construction management and inspection team has more than 150-years combined experience that protects owners’ interests with clear contractor communications, pragmatic problem solving and meticulous documentation from start to finish.
TBC performs wetlands delineations, soils investigations and hydrology studies – as well as develop water and sewer systems in support of site development. We also prepare and implement storm water pollution plans and perform cultural resource assessments. We provide compliance support for wastewater discharge permits and drinking water regulatory requirements including SWPPPs, BMPs, sanitary surveys, and monitoring/reporting guidance for private- and public-sector clients.
Studies and Planning
TBC provides a broad range of project planning services for future transportation corridors, subdivisions, business parks, trail systems, parks and schools – from feasibility studies to master planning, zoning and permitting, transportation plans and traffic impact analysis.
TBC is expert in Alaska land use, zoning, and permitting processes. We help clients identify project permitting requirements, meet all applicable land-use requirements and codes, and ensure that proper and complete documentation is submitted to federal, state and local regulators.
Cadastral and Construction Surveying
TBC provides a high-value combination of GPS and traditional survey methodologies in conjunction with ArcGIS. Our digital mapping services use satellite imagery, airborne GPS photography, LiDAR and other remote sensing and imaging technologies to provide quick-turnaround, high quality and cost-effective project base maps
TBC’s in-house landscape architect can provide facility concept designs to quickly and efficiently support site development, be it a commercial property or public park.
Public Involvement and Government Relations
TBC’s public involvement services range from creating presentation materials and signage to delivering full public involvement and education campaigns.
TBC has successfully pursued grants for clients under a variety of programs, including FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation and Pre-Disaster Mitigation programs, HUD Community Development Block Grants, and the Federal Lands Access Program. Awards have ranged from $250,000 to build a community park to $4.7 million to purchase and demolish homes threatened by riverine erosion.
